A shockingly tiny platforming game about generating static electricity to use as a light source to explore the world and help Static find his wife Shock! Generate static electricity by walking back and forth on tiles, but be careful because your static electricity and thus your ability to see which platforms are ahead diminishes quickly! Jump through different levels with obstacles that will challenge your platforming but also your memory when you run low on charge.

Story:

A robot named static has lost his wife shock. Fear not though, static can generate static electricity to see ahead in the darkness. Conquer platforming puzzles to help static find his missing wife because the only thing that can ground static is shock!

Controls:

WASD / Left Joystick - Move

Space / A button - Jump

Theme:

static shock was made for B1T JAM 4 with the theme "shock". This is not only used in the characters names, but in the inspiration for the static electricity themed mechanics of using the static you generate to see what is ahead.
